MBA or MA in Economics, or foreign equivalent required; experience required;
Should be able to full following Responsibities and Duties
|
| |
- Apply economic principles to compile, analyze, interpret, and report data to explain economic phenomena and relationships in the tourism industry;
- Apply mathematical models and statistical techniques to forecast economic and market trends in the tourism industry;
- Develop and implement strategic planning and management;
- Formulate solutions to economic problems arising in the tourism industry, including demand & supply, pricing, and equilibrium in tourism markets;
- Formulate recommendations based on cost-benefit analyses and economic models, to achieve maximum revenue on tourism products in India and other international markets;
- Formulate and implement risk-managing tools, with emphasis against currency fluctuation and exchange rates;
- Develop guidelines and standards to interpret market trends, including tourism projects analysis, international promotions, and advertising; research international tourism markets and consumer behavior for marketing and economic viability;
- Develop and design effective tour products for international markets; analyze cost and price of tour products;
- Ensure economic viability of tour destinations;
- Negotiate with major airlines, cruise-lines, hotels , CRS companies and other travel product suppliers worldwide for productivity linked bonus, setting high performance using economic and financial tools, and provide cost management solutions to the company for higher earning with these principle/ suppliers.
